Looks good for fireworks here as well.
I’m hanging in my backyard, as there are 3 neighbors who try to outdo each other every year with fireworks.
It’s gotten to be quite the neighborhood event.
From our back deck, we had a wonderful view of the fireworks at Mt. Rushmore last night. Had a bunch of neighbors over for blueberry martinis (yuk), strawberry daiquiris and white wine.....red, white and blue. In the spirit of patriotism, I think I might have overdone it a bit. Still feeling the after effects. LOL.
I spoke to some friends who actually braved the trip to the monument last night. Said security was super tight. Good thing.
Now we’re just waiting for some spot fires to show up in the forest from the fireworks. Hot and very dry here.
