I know and I wish I knew what to do . It almost seems too late . Most people don’t want to hear about it . I have mailed out letters, went to state capitals ,made calls and of course here on web . I am a senior I lived in different America than this one . I was a hard working stay at home mother and grandmother and did without a lot of thigs so I could leave my family a little something , now I can’t even leave them in safety . The future is’nt what I planned for . It is like waking up in the twilight zone after the invasion of the body snatchers . One day i was raising kids, then helping with grandkids while all along my whole world was being destroyed .

I’m with you on all that. I have a new grandchild as well. I fear the future for my children. If I were young and thinking of having a family I wouldn’t. Our country is NOT even close to the safe secure and clean land it once was. We, as young girls went everywhere at night in California, even Hollywood. YIKES....these days one would have to worry about being robbed, raped, murdered, car jacked etc. in California and Texas where I am now where I see the news every night. The perpetrators of all that including blight and graffiti on the city are not named Smith, Jones, or Swenson if you get my drift.
