Well, uh, brainy...I think casualties on June 6, 1944 were a tad bit higher than those of June 5, 1944...but the point was that the casualties on future June 6s would be much less.
Maybe so, but I don’t think there are going to be many troops in Iraq on June 6, 2008, no matter how the surge turns out.
