Muktar Said Ibrahim (left) and Ramzi Mohammed as they are held by armed police in London on July 29, 2005What is wrong with this sentence? Or should I say, this reality?

Smething about "divided by a common language" comes to mind.

well they’re both “armed” with 2 arms, but I don’t see any cops holding them or their arms, LOL

Apart from being bad at this “maths” (a plural form of the word that I think is an inaccurate usage), Mr. Omar apparently did not test his handiwork beforehand. Doesn’t Terrorism 101 stress preparation and testing before blowing oneself up — so as to be sure to be in the arms of those 72 white raisins?

Why is it necessary to qualify the word “police” with the word “armed”?
Oh, I forgot. This is England.
