Wrong. That's not the only thing that is needed. We need an Executive who will remember his sworn oath, and then act to uphold it. Last time I checked, the Fourteenth Amendment was the most fundamental part of what they swear to protect.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Too bad so many seem to have excised it from their copies...
BTW - Bush has a pretty good record in this regard...
1) Weeks after taking office, he passed Connor’s Law which established that it IS a person in that womb, and a double homocide when a pregnant mother is murdered.
2) Outlawed Partial Birth abortion.
3) Appointed judges that upheld the ban on partial birth abortion when it was immediately challenged by the left.
Not bad, while fighting the WOT, saving the economy, lowering unemployment, increasing the standard of living and spending 24/7 defending himself against relentless leftist drivel...
Not so hot in some other area’s, but proved a President can make a difference here.
find us one judge at the federal level or the state supreme court level who would agree with your interpretation of the 14th. I’ll settle for a single law professor at an accredited school. Just one out of the thousands out there.
