Those during the program pop ups on FX are major annoying, especially when they have loud sound effects.

Totally distract from what you are trying to watch and I can’t imagine that they generate a lot of viewership for the advertised shows.

There are a lot of talented, capable people in the television business who have to works in liberal cesspools filled with clueless people, bores, empty heads, etc., just as there are in any business, but in THIS business, they haven’t had many options on where to go for work that exclude the above.

As this nation turns back to its roots (and it is, slowly), watch for the people who have good core values to emerge, no matter which network they were hired by. The people who have had to repress who they are and what they believe, in order to earn a living in their designated field, are going to find, more and more, a whole new freedom to do their craft. There will always be that element that draws to trash, and that door which has been opened is likely to stay open to some degree.

Things like this kind of shift take time but I believe we’re going to see a big movement away from the trash on TV and back toward more wholesome entertainment and even (gasp!) actual reporting of the news instead of the leftist squelching and twisting of it.

NBC's Amy Jacobson Caught In Conflict of Interest

NBC 5 Chicago reporter Amy Jacobson is caught in bikini at Craig Stebic's (who's wife has disappeared) pool party.

The disappearance of Plainfield, IL mother Lisa Stebic has been a major news story--and not just in the Chicago area.

Although he has not been named a suspect, it's safe to say their is a cloud of suspicion surrounding her estranged husband, Craig Stebic.

He's not talking to the police, but he's probably speaking to NBC 5 Chicago's Amy Jacobson, who attended a pool party at Stebic's home on Friday.

Neighbors have told CBS 2 Chicago reporters that Amy Jacobson has been visiting the Stebic house "frequently" since the disappearance of Lisa.

CBS 2 has a video here.

NBC 5 Chicago is essentially mum on the story, saying in a statement, "The matter is still under review, and that is the only comment we'll make."

Amy Jacobson, her agent aren't talking.

Kevin Reilly

Kevin is quoted as saying, "Now that I'm working for FOX, I've decided to change my name to Kevin O'Reilly to improve my ratings."

LOL ... I thought of that similarity, too. But then I doubt their paths will be crossing much, except at company functions.

Kevin Reilly, left, while still at NBC, along with Jerry Seinfeld and Jeff Zucker, chief of NBC Universal. One of Mr. Reilly’s big assignments at Fox will be to find shows that will shore up the weak months in the fall.

Kevin — Hey Seinfeld, are you competing for the lamest smile award?
Seinfeld — You should talk, mister generic blue necktie guy.
Kevin — Well, at least my tie ain’t crooked like yours.
Zucker — Did somebody say Mai-Tai? Man, could I use a drink.
Seinfeld — Acually, it looks like we all got our neckties at the same Price Rollback counter at Wal-Mart.
Kevin — Well, NBC don’t pay like it used to.
Seinfeld — Ya think? What’s with that? Did you ever notice....
Zucker — Shut up, Jerry. This closet isn’t big enough for us plus your ego. Comedic genius, my ass.

I can’t believe how many on Fox News station are lawyers. I guess they want to be ready for any tragedy that happens 24/7.

Jerry Seinfeld was quoted as saying, "What...you're working for FOX??? There's GOT to be more to the story."

Reilly answered in typical Seinfeld-esque, "No....there's less."

Sources say he was referring to his new salary.
