Funny that you should say brought down to the grave. We just got hit in the flathead valley with a REAL hurricane, 65 mph winds. It happens every 10 years or so with super hot temps and violent thunderstorms in the middle of the summer. I just lost 7 of my biggest trees, 2+ ft diameter, brought down like matchsticks, roots and all.

One wonders : does this qualify as the trials of JOB? Is GOD communicating something here? He must not like my new hedge that I worked SO HARD on, one of the trees was perfectly DUMPED right on half of it, completely wiping it out. What message is that? Maybe like my heart : half GONE, half left....go figure....

Sounds like you may Very Well be in a 'Job's Season,' timer. One Comforting Thing is that, at the End of Job's Time of Troubles, our Lord Blessed him More than He had throughout his Entire Life. (Job.42:12) I'll Pray that for you, in my Bedtime Prayers Tonight, through His Grace and Name.

A Shelter in the Time of Storm

While sometimes God is sending us a message, sometimes in this imperfect world things just happen.

Try not to refine too much on what may be God's word, but also may be just a stormy year and the perversity of inanimate objects (like trees and hedges).

(I'd light a candle to your Guardian Angel just in case though < g > )
