Hey, I'm a woman who topped out at 6'1". Can I help it if we've got so many short-statured illegal aliens and others (most Asian women are maybe half my size--except for maybe the Mongolian Chinese)?

I've done my part to bring up the height average! But I'm only one Amazon! Maybe someone should start a campaign to have more American men marry Amazons! ;)

I was thinking the same thing. You know, it’s funny, but I think that people are taller today, than they were when I was young. My husband is 6’6 and so is my son. When my husband was in college, people used to make remarks to him all the time, like, how’s the weather up there. Today, there were three guys on my son’s high school basketball team that were taller than he, and the school had less than a thousand students.
