Please read the books by Ruddy (The Strange Death of Vincent Foster) and Evans-Pritchard (The Secret Life of Bill Clinton) for starters. They have interviewed EMTs and rescue personnel who were at the scene at FMP, plus the witness who first chanced upon the body before the Fire and Rescue teams arrived. There is unanimous agreement that there that there was very little if any blood in the vicinity of the body. Plus, it was noted that the body was a neat straight spine position, not the position that a body maintains after a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. One of the EMTs coded it as a homicide in his report.
As for "crime scene" photos (it really wasn't a true crime scene - since the victim was killed elsewhere - but rather a body-dumping scene), I believe there are a few that were released to attorney and fellow FReeper Allan Favish when he litigated to get them under the Freedom of Information Act. But ten or so of those photos were withheld from Favish by the government.
I’ve been reading up on it, including Favish’s site. Interesting stuff. Not sure what to make of it, but having a gun made from two other guns doesn’t really mean anything either way to me.
Where are the crime scene photos that were released? I didn’t see any, but I did read a judge’s order to grant access to a few of them.
Not sure what to make of the silver/black handgun. It was clear from reading that there were several handguns, so she could have been thinking of the silver one and not thinking or recognizing the black one. One of the sites made a big deal about the fact that they asked to see his other guns when they got to his house. Sounds like a good, thorough investigation to me.
