If I were presenting logic as deeply flawed as that, I’d be careful about commenting on the intelligence of others.

Firstly, moral rectitude and economic status are hardly synonymous. I’d venture to guess that there are more scumbags in the Kennedy clan alone than in the entire city of Pink, Oklahoma.

Secondly, as you may or may not have heard, Jesus was God. One can hardly draw a parallel between His association with publicans and sinners on the one hand, and the association of humans who share vices on the other.
