I understand it well. But Russia won’t destruct America until America will do same to Russia. So Russia may occupy baltic states for 3 days and turn her thermonuclier forces into high alert and sit tight and wait for America’s move:).
Now you start WW3? I think it is like to do the voluntary suicide because if you launch then Russian launches. You will destruct your beloved country and kill your beloved family by your own move.
How it will help to those baltic states if America will do suicide? Other thought: your warheads will hit Russians towns but they are so close to those Baltic states that the fallout will land there too. How this will help Baltic states if America will commit suicide and alred dead and they will die slowly of the radiation indone by american explosions? It is as simple as it is - NOT.
So I think you will do the different. You will try to push Russian forces off Baltic states by NATO ordinary ground forces but not going nucleir. But that is exactly what Russia needs:).
Russia will turn to defense of her fortified defense lines and will grind out those ground attacking forces which had to attack her prepared lines. The attacking forces will suffer much bigger casualties the defending forces. So few years of some fights and few millions of the western soldiers dead and West will turn to the talks:). It is the Russia’ strategy:).
