Where did the people from Scotland come from? They were not created in Scotland or evolved there (depending on your belief..) A lot of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Cornwall are descendants of the Celts who migrated from Eastern Europe, Asia before that, India before that, Africa before that. Even the 'Norse' family lines, if you go far enough back, can be traced to the near East.
The interesting thing is, many in Scotland and Ireland have family trees that can be traced recently to the Moors, when the Spanish Armada sank off the coast of Ireland.. At that, what we call 'white' people are the most 'mutt' out of everyone..
BTW, just for the record, in my traced ancestry so far (we have direct trees thus far traced back to the 14th century) I'm also Scot (Stewart Clan) but I also am German, Native American, and Japanese..
If you want to learn some interesting things, I would suggest signing up for the Family DNA Tree project.. they can show by your DNA how your family tree spreads all over the world..
Cheers,
