Bombs, firearms seized in Kolkata (India)

KOLKATA: A large number of bombs, bomb-making materials and firearms were seized from an abandoned soap factory at Tiljela in south Kolkata.
"A sack full of bomb-making materials, 32 bombs, two one shotters and one six shotter pistols were seized in a raid yesterday," said a police officer. "We are investigating whether the bombs were made here," he said.
Two youths Manjar (24) and Ibrar (25) who stole underground and overhead cables and were also involved in cases of robbery, were arrested, he said. The raids were made on the basis of revelations made by some persons arrested earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Javed Samim said.
