I guess he could plead whatever it is that men plead when they catch their wife in bed with another man and kill one or both of them. But then that just highlights my contention that this man is to freakin’ involved in his daughter’s sex life. I do believe he should teach her to be chaste until marriage, but he is acting like a spurned lover—which he may well be. This has the stink of an incestuous infatuation.
Incestuous infatuation? More likely, this was a guy who took the kind of semi-joke in
post #12 here more literally than most FReepers do. But just consider why that "Dating My Daughter" survey has been posted on this forum dozens of times (and probably posted thousands of times elsewhere). Many fathers do feel inclined to violence at the thought of daughters under their roof (and therefore under their protection) getting sexually involved. Too bad for the kid that he didn't realize he was dealing with one of them.
