Do you imagine such a status would hinge on a slander by Bill O'Reilly?

No, but the poster has a point. I noticed a few years ago that our former firewall considered FR a banned site. Then I noticed a pattern of conservative sites blocked and things like DU, which definitely breaks several of our regs concerning usage, were not. Seems the manufacturer of the firewall was a lefty org. Obviously some manager high up likes sites like this as they all became accessible one morning.

FR and the DUmp both were accessible from work for many years (gov servers). One day, I clicked on the DUmmie FUnnie link after PJ-Comix had posted his thread, and I got a "This site has been blocked and is prohibited by the administrator". I later found out that one of the IT administrators, was posting hateful things on the DUmp. Real smart kid - NOT.

FR has always been available and never blocked. One reason it is not, is that this site supports the military. I know my third level supervisor posted on the Canteen thread when he was deployed.
