Joshua, the Duggars’ oldest son, finished high school at age 16. He passed the state’s test for a general equivalency diploma, or GED. He is considering applying to a California law school that permits distance learning. His goal: to enter politics.
Their family sounds so much like mine, except the home-schooling part. We went to Catholic school partly, and public school partly.
Good on them-the family is an inspiration. People are so used to hearing motherhood discussed only in the context of welfare mothers and teen pregnancy, that they’ve forgotten there’s any other kind. It just shows what people/families can be when their priorities are straight and they heed God’s will.
An on-line CA law school? At 19 with no Bachelor’s or Master’s? Is that even possible? And only on-line? Not on campus with real live professors and other students? That doesn’t make any sense at all.
