To: Clint N. Suhks

Probably depends on whether or not they’re strip. I honestly don’t know - I think some people have a problem with cards because of the “environment” they’re played in - silly to me, if you’re strong in your convictions you will be wherever you are. I grew up spending summers with my paternal grandparents, and used to play a lot with them and their OLD friends. I would chatter throughout the game (which I learned later isn’t welcome to serious players) and then win, which they didn’t like.

I play in Texas Holdem tournaments. You pay an entrance fee and depending how many people play the place winners divide the money in order of how they placed less administrative costs.

I don’t see it as gambling.
