Arbil, Aug 16, (VOI) – A 340-strong Kurdish Peshmerga force was sent to northwestern Iraq's district of Sinjar to restore security and provide protection to the afflicted community, an official Peshmerga source said on Thursday.
"The force will remain in the district until the security situation is secure," Peshmerga Commander Maj. Gen. Aziz Waizy told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).

The Peshmerga are though lions. I ponder whether it wouldn’t be wiser to extend the Kurdish authonomy authority to those areas with majority Kurdish population (not mixed areas, otherwise we’ll see more resettlements and turf wars). I understand that the Turks, Syrians, Iranians and also Iraqis will squeal (and they might have a reason), but the Kurdish authority is the only local entity currently capable of giving security and political stability.

Melek, or Lucifer, used the remains of the pearl to create the material world. After this creation, the Spirit created the remaining Angels. Yezidi theology claims that Lucifer was forgiven for his transgressions, and those who revere him are the spiritual elect of humanity. They are forbidden from referring to him as Satan.

KRG is replacing (SIBs) or augmenting ISF in the adjacent provinces (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th IA Div AORs).
They can call Lucifer the Pillsbury Doughboy and it is still Lucifer they are worshipping.
Actually there is confusion about just what the Yezidis mean when they can Lucifer “Malak Ta’aus” or “Ta’us Malak” and they will not tell you directly. Sometimes they say Malak means angel or king, and in Semitic languages both are possible depending on vocalization. It is still the worship of what Christians from Armenia to Iraq know as the fallen angel, the devil.
