The first question that comes to mind is, “Why haven’t you been doing this all along?”

Soooo, what of the sanctuary cities in Jersey???
Does Daddy Warbucks override them??
This is going to get interesting.
There must be some really interesting polling for Corzine to enact this.

Good. Now the Feds don’t have the “we weren’t informed” excuse.

If Bush had any brains or testicles on this issue, he would have cut off all federal funding to Newark after the executions, until the democrats there began to comply with federal immigration law.
Oh, and by the way.... WHERE’S THE FENCE!!!

O’Reilly just about blew a head vein last night about this topic. I know he usually goes over the top, but he really got excited about the mayor of Newark having the police stand-down re: information flow.
Hope this news sticks.

Do you want to impress me? I want to see it nation wide in every city. Start by threatening to hold back federal funds to states with cities that don’t comply! This is aiding and abetting the enemy!

"Some have questioned whether such a policy could have prevented the schoolyard slayings in which at least one of the six suspects was in the country illegally."
Gee, ya think???
Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:
"Notwithstanding any other provision of federal, state, or local law, a federal, state, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."

Is this really all it takes? After the loss of innocent life, the LIFE, the very LIFE of innocent people that are no more and will forever be no more, THIS is all it would have taken? Will the sanctuary cities that openly defied federal law, be so bold as to defy this? My heart to the mothers, fathers and friends of these young innocent victims.
