I like listening to David Burd (USMC Vet) and enjoyed him on WMAL, however with WaPo radio there are traffic reports at 15 and 45 after the hour.....to Dang infrequent for commuting in DC. In the morning traffic info is a MUST and WMAL and WTOP have it every 10 min (on the fives and eights) and thus I listen to them. Especially Fred and Andy. In the afternoons WaPo was deadly dull, newswriters make lousy on-air voices.

I did listen to WaPo radio last year when I visited DC,
but only to hear the Nationals game I was attending (on
a Walkman). They have been re-running Nats games in the
middle of the night (1500 signal does very well at night)
though I’m hearing the games may move elsewhere next year.

In other words, while some people have a face for radio, these dorks have a voice for newsprint.
