It is only right that these spoiled, idiotic liberal billionaires insult one of the finest men ever to sit in the White House. I’d be shocked by their praise instead! Let them utter their psycho-babble 24/7 and give’em prime time! A new conservative will be gained or confirmed in his ideals at every idiotic remark by these self-proclaimed icons of morality and brightness!

I believe that acting is an honorable profession.
I believe it takes talent to convincingly portray someone other than yourself, especially on stage night after night. In a movie or on TV an 'actor' only has to do it right once.
Should I not have listened to Ronald Reagan? Was he a stooge because of his chosen profession prior to politics?
Is Fred Thompsom a stooge because he is an actor? Chuck Heston? Bruce Willis?
I don't see any proof connecting "stooge-ocity" with acting.
What about directors like Oliver Stone, producers, gaffers, best-boys, drivers, foli operators and make-up, set designers and builders, camera and sound personnel etc. They don't 'play people other than themselves'. So, according to your opinion of actors, are these the smart ones that we should listen to them instead of the actors?
Or would it be better to simply accept that Southern California is overwhelmingly liberal for a variety of reasons. Those in the movie industry are no more liberal in general that those in the dry-cleaning, restaurant or any other business category in Hollywood. The whole place is swarming with them. I know. I have to live here.

The two Hollywood people who made any political sense in recent memory are Ronald Reagen and Charlton Heston. It’s amusing how people who play act and repeat learned lines can be sooooooo short on thinking and literacy skills. They’re not even smart enough to keep their mouth’s shut so people like me don’t know their political bent and will continue to buy their music and movies.
Then, once they’er out of the closet, they claim that my refusal to buy their products is censorship. That’s deep, man, real deep.

Sure, we should care about what Ronald Reagan, Charlton Heston, Fred Thompson et al have had to say, but not BECAUSE they were actors. Their political and moral insights did not come from acting per se, but from much broader intelligence and learning far beyond what most actors ever attempt or achieve.

Actually, that’s a hamster, not a gerbil - gerbils have long tails, hamsters have basically no tails making them much for challenging to retreive.
