They’re either trying to resurrect him, or they give him time because he’s no longer a threat. I haven’t figured out which of those two theories is true.

I think he only made the little jerk comment to get some publicity, BTW.

I don’t know how they count him as a serious contender.
Wishful thinking on their part, I suppose.

“It is obvious that you are determined to defecate on Duncan Hunter no matter what anyone says to you, so I will save my breath.”

So many folks are doing that so often, it makes me wonder if they have a job, or if it is their job.

Where did you get those numbers? 6 Million is more like it and I still resent Thompson going the way of POP CULTURE~

And what you saw last night in the GOP debate was mainstream? One minute soundbites is all it was. You are parrotting Rush but, I agree that the POTUS should be above "pop culture", but getting up on the stage in a "debate", with the likes of Ron Paul, serves no good. (Other than to show that Paul is an idiot)

For maybe a better look at Fred:

Great post! Rev. Jim Ignatowski had more frequent bouts of coherency than Ron Paul

He seems so bitter, not a good thing for a president, I’d say.

No. He believes in limited government, cutting bureaucracies and departments, is pro-Second Amendment, and is pro-life. That and many other reasons would disqualify him from modern Democratic Party thinking. Anti-military involvement candidates are a dime-a-dozen in the Democratic Party.

I agree. Just because you are a looney tune isolationist is no guarantee of support by Dems. They’ve got lots of choices that are Socialist as well as looney to choose from.

Paul’s support is Libertarian-Independents and Libertarian-Republicans. The rabid 1% of the Republican party that would like to see Ron Paul nominated are going to be very disappointed. Only their deep conviction that the Primaries were rigged conspiracies will console them come February.

I saw Fred Thompson on Hannity last night.
I must confess I was really impressed. He was straight talking and direct. He took on the Democrats in a way I’d love to see from more Republican politicians.
The jury is still out but, if Fred continues to show the qualities he displayed on Hannity, I can see me getting behind him.

With all due respect, Ron Paul lost any chance of support from me after his dismal Democrat sounding performance during the debate. I’m sorry but I do not like the man at all.

...I can see me getting behind him.

Don't just get behind him, get in front of him and lead the way!
