There may be hope as long as the fraud investigations continue.

You’re in the minority then. Your state’s a political farce. And the voters are the only ones to blame.

BTW, so are my two home states (CA & PA). I don’t get defensive about it. It’s an inescapable reality.

That’s quite the expose’ on NJ corruption. Three whole sentences.

The official says two Democratic state lawmakers, the mayor of Passaic (puh-SAY'-ihk) and the chief of staff to Newark's City Council president are among those arrested.

Doesn't that sentence almost imply that most of those arrested are not Democrats? Whether true or not, that is the early implication from the sentence wording.

Hmmm. No call-out of affiliation. I.e., they’re all Democrats (or 10 of them are).

I think he posted it because I mistakenly posted yours on his thread even though his was actually older than yours! (Confused?) Color it my fault for policing his thread. ;-)

Interestingly, I just saw the musical "Jersey Boys," about the musical group "The Four Seasons."

One of the band members is named Tommy DeVito, but the real gangster that the character was based on had a different last name.

The tie to "Jersey Boys" is that, in the musical, they say that Joe Pesci was a companion of the band members before they formed, and was responsible for introducing Bob Gaudio to the others.

Now, Pesci is in a movie about Jersey wiseguys, with a character named after one of "The Four Seasons" band members.

“This could be just what the GOP needs to get a boost in NJ.”

I am sure a full scale investigation of a Republican unpaid library fines is about to be undertaken. This will get full coverage by all of Americas newspapers and TV News stations.

Oh, duh, Okay, I thought I was on a Chucky Schumer thread when I made that reply to you. Hey, no big deal, I really do not care when they post original thread etc....glad to have people police these threads because I often miss stuff and many will post links in their comments in those original threads that leads to more info.

As I stated in THAT thread, I don’t just automatically paint linkers as “NAZIs” and “police” because FR is lousy for knowing/finding what’s up to date of the same subject (never mind for many other things, too).
