I’ve tested my willpower to the limits for over a year now, by not missing even once, running 3.6 kms a day, on a 10-degree incline, in 30 minutes. I’ve lost weight plenty, so far; enough to need me to buy an entire new set of clothes, as the old ones were too big now.

To this day, I’ll compensate for the days I miss working out, by running double the distance, the next day. For the days missed when I’m on vacation, I double the distance for the number of days I wouldn’t be able to run, beforehand.

At the end of the day, it’s totally worth it!

Congratulations and I admire your discipline. The great thing about the benefits of physical discipline is that it definitely spurs you on in other areas of your life.

Your behavior sounds more like that of an obessive-compulsive, but that doesn’t matter, the important thing is that you are thin, and society loves thin. Isn’t that all that matters? You should do what you have to in order for the “in crowd” to love you. Keep running!
