For my money, no one who did NOT serve should either have the vote or be able to run for public office. Sure we’d have skerry, but it would weed out those who most often had “better” things to do than show graphically their willingness to put their lives on the line to protect their fellow Americans. And the question KDD asked is highly relevant because of the one you asked him: Would he be willing to die for his country, something YOU apparently weren’t willing to do yourself. And for the record, I spent over 22 years serving.
I agree...Be nice if the CIC was required to have his combat ribbon.
