Chamberlain(pre-WW2) only insured larger threat when he backed down. Islamic extremeists see Iraq as central front-withdrawing will tell them we are weak and unrealiable.
Reagan would remind us-struggle will not be bombs and rockets...but spititual resovle. For all that died-we must rise to occasion and not let them down by withdrawing before job is done.
