"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Well, either you have a very new machine or are not using some of the modern features. I found (through tests with Vista downloads) that many features that I use, especially for hard disks - ie, raid options, hard disk software utilities, PVR drivers and associated software - multiple problems - will not work with Vista yet. Unfortunately, driver upgrades are still not available for much of the hardware and buggy for the software programs.
Most common over the counter hardware may work fine, but do not expect to get the odd hardware drivers to work initially or at all.
By the way, my system has components from the last 2-3 years and several items are not supported on Vista.
I guess you don't have a variable output fluorescent backlit digitizer, do you. The manufacturer got out of the business, but there are third party Windows drivers for Windows 9.X, 2000, and XP, but not for Vista.
You must be using all microsoft approved devices. My printers (Epson CX42000), mp3 player software(Creative Media for Zen touch) and a host of other devices are useless when it encounters vista.
