According to the article he was visiting friends when two thugs forced open the door to the house while he was ringing the doorbell. Tragic timing for father and son.

The father was visiting the home. The two murderers ran up behind him as the front door opened. Two males inside the house ran for help. A school bus driver stopped to help.

Wrong, it says the man went to visit some friend, he rang the door bell, as the door bell was answered to armed men ran up behind him and forced him into the house. There he was shot twice, as they left they stopped and shot the baby. The whole story sounds like a hit, for gang and drug and are illegals non payment to coyotes. Not the article uses no names.

It's a poorly written article, basil, and I found it confusing also.

This Sacramento Bee article makes it clear that the killers (not the slain father) were the home invaders.

But either way, the murder of this innocent baby is an outrage that calls for a quick, unceremonious hanging. Two of them.
