If the kids are that allergic, they need to be taught at home. It’s foolish to believe you can insulate your child from peanuts in a school environment.

(If you aren't part of the solution, there is good money to be made prolonging the problem.)

Ok I get why people want to bring peanut butter but let me tell you how it goes down... I have twins with anaphylaxis one of their triggers in nuts/peanut butter. I enroll them in a private school at the tune of 18000.00 per child because it's suppose to be nut free. The parents throw a fit the school reverses the ruling 12 visits to the ER in an ambulance from school I pull them. The school tries to sue me for the rest of the tuition and was able to recover the tuition for my 3rd child who does not have nut allergies. Now my kids are in a public school where they are protected under the disability act. They eat at a seperate table but, one of them is having epidsodes at school and had to be epi penned lastweek. why don’t I home school them ? Because they love school and can’t these kids eat peanut butter for breakfast or after school or can’t they just wash their hands b4 they spread it all over the place. More kids are allergic today because peanuts are in a lot of processed foods. Also, these Teachers are highly qualified and I am not able to provide them the same education at home and believe me the Teacher’s do not want the peanut butter and nuts in the school. It’s inconvienent but, when do we teach our children that life is not always convienent!!!
