“In August 2002, O&A were canceled for the “Sex For Sam 3” stunt. Sex for Sam was a yearly contest O&A held in which the goal was to have sex in notable
public places. Couples from various states would be chosen to compete in the competition and each couple would be followed by a comedian or member of the
show, who would call into the program to report the location. The contest was approved by the station and had been held without a major problem for the
first two years. However, one comedian made the decision to lead his couple to have sex in a vestibule in
St. Patrick’s Cathedral.”
