Thanks for posting this interesting read, FTNY. The only other book I have read, “Case Closed,” looked at the Oswald/USSR links and minimized them, LHO being seen as an oddball with delusions of importance (such as in his distributing flyers on behalf of a pro-Castro cause).

The article did not seem clear on the Kremlin’s initial (but later reversed) interest in killing Kennedy. I can postulate that Krushchev felt angry after the Missile Crisis, and that that was sufficient reason. But after the Missile Crisis, Krushchev was on a fairly short leash, Breshnev being ascendant, among others. They had far less at stake with respect to Kennedy, and would presumably have known about such goings on — and possibly been responsible for authorizing or countermanding such plans.

Not a Kremlinologist, nor disputing the interviewee’s report. Just not able to discern the precise motive.

Thanks for a real interesting read.

The FBI had a deep cover spy with personal access to the Politburo- Morris Childs, who was second to Gus Hall at the CPUSA. He knew Khrushchev, Breshnev, Andropov. He was our most effective spy during the Cold War. During his entire career only 12 people knew of his role. Presidents weren’t even told his identity.

Childs was in Moscow during November 1963 and overheard conversations concerning Kennedy’s death. The Soviets were as curious about who could have killed Kennedy as we were.

Thanks for that information and name, Pelham.

I read a few other sites discussing Mr. Childs’ exploits. Sheesh, 40 years.

The information about the JFK assassination was interesting.

The JFK Assassination conspiracy was born out of the missing facts. Just watch the movie JFK and research the books used to create it. Much more trustworthy than the media or guv. Read the ‘intel’ docs published in the book Regicide, the Offical Assassination of JFK.

It takes a Perry Mason type to figure out the creditable evidence and disinformation.

But the truth is out there........

I don’t think Oswald was a “Manchurian Candidate” type agent. The whole “kennedy conspiracy” has made millions for the people pushing it.

How convenient to have such a conversation in front of an American agent...

Just not able to discern the precise motive.

I would be thinking about Vietnam myself...not Cuba...

Why? Well, I've always found it extremely interesting that LHO ran and hid at a house who happened to be a cousin of John F'in Kerry...a woman related to the Bell family that provided the helicopters that were used in Vietnam...

Kerry's family history of opium running into China (the source of their family wealth) probably plays a role in this also.

So look to Russia/China/Vietnam/Cambodia/CIA/Kennedy/Catholic Church for motive...with little Johnny Kerry hanging about the Kennedy's....eaves-dropping everythig he can soak up...spit

Oswald had a good day hunting. That is the truth. Just another wack job. No men on the grassy knoll. No men in the sewer just a guy who had a good day.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for inserting some sanity into this discussion.

Just my opinion, but it's always been my sincere belief that all the "conspiracy howash", at its core, is kept alive because in reality Oswald was an extreme LEFT-WING NUT, and the liberal powers that be can't accept that it was one of their own that offed their great hero!

Fake documents, just hmmmmm, wasn’t there a big brew ha-ha over some fake documents in a global attempt to save Saddam.... Wilson/JFKerry and superiors???

There is a conspiracy about JFK’s death, why else would the records be sealed until the majority alive at the time of his death be for the most part dead?

Consider the number of persons only remotely connected to the assassination who were dead, many under curious circumstances by 1966.

We speak freely of "Arkancide" around here. Clinton admired Kennedy, and was a student of all things Kennedy. In fact the first question he was said to have asked when he occupied the Presidential office was, "OK, so who killed Kennedy?"

Gerald Ford was on the Warren Commission, as was sitting senator, Arlen Specter. Will Ford have some postmortem bombshell memoirs come out some day about this?

"You know" ( Hillry's famous method of starting a sentence) I do not have a clue who knows what but our very own government has done its utmost to maintain any and all conspiracies alive and prospering. Warren Commission and Spector included. Whatever the truth is it is NOT beneficial for the public at large to be informed of in at least this particular generation. The games they play in high places....
