You never know, she may have had a small bottle of liquid, or even a pair of nail clippers, hidden in there!

If she is built like she implied, once they got loose she should have swung one at them and maimed them for life.

What happens if you have a plate in your head? I have 4 of them since june and lotsa screws...havn’t had to walk through a metal detector yet though.

A friend of mine who wrecked her foot in a car accident has to take an x-ray with her to the airport, showing where the titanium screws are.

It’s a courthouse, not a two-bit shack in nowhereville.

They generally have rules/policies that they need to have female officers around so that if they have to do a pat down one is around.

It’s not like law enforcement people don’t know how to staff buildings, they do it at airports, they do it in other federal buildings and other courthouses for this very reason. It’s not a hard burden to do this. YOU seem to have a problem with it however.

And BTW, for the goof who said this is like him having to take off a belt, that is clear bullsh1t. You can take off your belt without having to take off your pants.

"When I walked through, the gentleman said, "'Do you have an underwire bra on?'." Plato said. "I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'You have to remove it.' "

You mean to tell me a federal courthouse in Coeur d'Alene can't come up with a way to screen a woman with an underwire bra without having her remove the bra? That's just damn stupid.

What happens if you have a plate in your head?

Take your head off and run it through the X-ray machine, or some goon impersonating a security guard will take it off for you.

They couldn’t take any chances. It might have been a bullet bra.

I’d ping the FReeper who sells them, but I can’t remember his handle.

I kept setting off the metal detector at Heathrow. The then-wife and I both got patted down.

She wasn't amused.

Even less so when stowing my jacket on the plane, I found a tin of Altoids in an inside pocket...

At a party, somebody told a story about a friend that bought a new washing machine. After a couple of weeks, she finds a "part" when pulling out the clothes. The repairman shows up, and she show him the "part". "That's part of an underwire bra" he tells her, as he's pulls out his work log.

blame the f***ing moslems who decided to declare war on the rest of the world, and made this sh!t the new reality.

I don't have any love for moslems, but I'm not going to pretend they're the ones who decided to treat middle class Americans like prison inmates. That has been escalating for decades, and the only thing moslems have to do with it is they make a good scapegoat to speed it up.

Actually in my case, without my belt my pants fall off (recently lost 60 pounds).

one of the security guards said, "'That's a girl,"

Degrading and uneccessary comment.

"Hey, she can’t be that humiliated if she is telling the press."

Nice to see somebody on this thread is able to figure that out.

I have had the experience of being blind sided by someone and humiliated at the time. Once I got to regroup however my indignation and anger took over. Anger at myself for allowing the humiliation and anger at the person for having done so. The aftermath wasnt pretty.
