IMHO, one of Dubya’s biggest blunders was never using his veto to force some fiscal responsibility on the Republican Congress. Had he done so, they might not have lost their majority.

Agreed, that and closing the border/booting illegals would have made me a very happy Republican. But alas that did not happen.
