Did McCain just drop a bombshell? Getting Congress approval for an attack, is closer to reality than were saying now?
Yeah, that was kinda interesting. I don’t think he meant anything specific ... but who knows what he has been hearing from the Bush administration?

It was when they were discussing what they’d do prior to attacking another nation. Confer with Congress and get approval, or not? McCain says this is closer to reality than we’re saying right now. (Words to that effect.) I thought it a moment of spontaneous honesty.
At the tail end of answering a question on whether the President must consult with Congress before an attack on Iran, McCain said something along the lines of "this scenario may be closer than we're talking about tonight."
