Yes, I know all of that. I agree with climate change, but like many people, do not believe mankind has the capacity to change it...I also believe in me heart and soul that if we ever DO achieve the capacity to control the weather, the first thing we'll do is screw it up. Al Gore could care less about the climate, he only cares about being at the top of the heap, giggling madly as the ants scurry by, proles scurry around destroying thinks and believing THEY are now in charge. He is therefore vehemently opposed intelligent discourse on the subject, because that would make his (and others' )carefully crafted house of cards fall down.

Which is why I don't understand why you flamed someone for sarcasm. Algore+globalwarming/cooling/climatechange-o-matic INVITES sarcasm.

Indeed!

What I find humorously puzzling is that Al Gore et al somehow think there shouldn't be any climate change.

Climate changes - cope!

"Climate changes - cope!"

I have always believed that "progressives" fear change more than anything, because they lack the ability to cope.

Of course it’s [climate change] been established, for the past 4.5 billion years. This is also known as ‘weather patterns’.

The most succinct reponse to the ‘faithful’ of the religion of GW. I will use it frequently.

Nobel Fleece Prize.

This explains how Carter, Araffat, and Gore win. The only one missing from this is Clinton. WHERE IS HIS FLEECE PRIZE???

Good one ;-)

Hah, I had the same thought, but remembered some of the other winners. Nobel jumped the shark years ago.

Re: using the term “swift-boated”

This is an excellent example of how those who control language win. We know that the Swift Boat vets courageously “told truth to power” (to coopt another cliche) and the supporters of that power - Gore - coined the word “to swiftboat” to mean slandering somebody.

Now Freepers unconsciously have adopted the left’s definition.

This is what happened with “MSM.” We know they are on the Left of the political spectrum, yet we acknowledge that they are in the middle and conservatives are on a “wing” every time we use their term.

They fight with words and we have to be vigilant, not to fall into their traps.

"I’ve been watching Fox all morning and so far not a peep about Algore. No Fox News Alert, no gong...what’s going on???"

Let's face it, it's just as embarrassing to watch the laughable Nobel "Peace" Prize committee giving Gore the equivalent of a "Lewinski" on TV, as it was to see them give it to terrorists like Arafat, Kofi "UN oil-for-food scammer" Anan, Jimma "never met a Dictator I didn't like" Carter, et.al., ad nauseum.

Not only that - but foregone conclusions aren't "news".

At least 50% of Americans must now believe that an already devalued prize is now totally worthless. It could however, act as a launching pad to thrust algore into the dem nomination.

...he helped saved millions from communism.

Which is the precise reason that the leftists running the show never considered him. He was against all that they stood for.

"The Nobel Peace Prize has become the “Liberal Idol” competition"

In many cases the prizes for Peace and also Literature have become mere party favors for socialist wankers. No one should mistake the Nobel committes on non-scientific subjects for anything but leftist hacks promoting their own blinkered world view. "Prestige" should not be associated with what such people choose to honor.
