This is what Rush was so irate about at the beginning of his show today. This is just another 'RAT effort to undermine our allies in this war.
Your comments are no different from anti-semitism, and no different from holocaust deniers. What a shame! This is not a Democrat vs Republican issue, and there were Republicans who vote for it. If this was a resolution to recognize the holocaust of the Jews are you going to say the same, claiming an effort to isolate US from Arabic countries?

We need Turkey. Without them allowing us transport through their country, our efforts over there will not be successful. This is an issue that could be brought up when/if the situation in the Middle East is more stable. The timing of this request is self-serving and not in the interest of bringing peace to the region.
