My 97 Town Car has 298000 on the original drive train. No major engine, tranny or other work. I had the differential oil changed at 200,000 miles. I think it may have been a livery package, oh- and I bought it used for $6,600.00 when it had 65k on it.
Have a 2000 Buick LeSabre with 145000 miles on it - engine, trans fine 20/30 MPG, creature comforts galore. Replaced a 1990 Nissan Maxima - which I was very happy with for 133K miles before I gave it to my son. But I enjoy the LeSabre more. My most severe complaint is that the bulbs in the dash controls are burning out - and I cannot replace them for any reasonable price. So driving after dark leaves me without information about which button to push for heating, cooling, defogging, etc. Why didn't they use easily replaced bulbs, or LEDs?
Quite tempted to buy GM for next car.
