I had a Ford F-150 that was the third most unreliable POS I’d ever owned. The best part was that the replacement parts, bought from the dealer, were even LESS reliable than the ones being replaced on the truck!

I’ve gone *back* to Japanese trucks because of this and other issues with UAW-built crap.

Yeah, a bad experience on a big ticket item doesn't get em much repeat business. That said I owned a '94 F-150 that I put over 200,000 on and sold it to my dad for a grand. He still uses it on his property as a work truck.

I have always liked t the old Toyota and Nissan 4wd trucks and if I were to be in the market for a small truck I would look there first.
