I would like to here from ANY of the signers as to their intent to contribute to this worthy cause....Don't hold your breath. They don't give a crap about Marines or any other military people. Most likely, if the price goes much higher, they will sue for their share of the proceeds.

dont think they really represent any state. State of Denial. State of Confusion. State of Fear.
I see those states represented. ;^)

I think we should all write or phone the signatories and ask if they plan to match the bid as Rush has pledged to do, and if not, why not?
Ask them what it is about the MC-LEF that they don’t support

Well see about this. Im not convinced yet some a-hole DUmmie isnt trying to hose this auction. Rush (and his staff) thought of that and had some screening mechanism to ensure bids would be valid. I tried bidding and I never got a confirmation that I had passed their screen (you had to have a valid eBay screen name and history; you had to be on-file; etc.). You have to hand it to Rush & Co., they thought this out very well to avoid having a scam -- my guess is, they have valid bidders involved who are taking this quite seriously. And before this auction comes to a conclusion, I assume there will have been more due diligence done on the final bidder(s).

I notice both of my state’s Senators signed (Maryland). Of course, here in the Communist Counties of Maryland, they hate Rush and Bush so much that they’re more than happy to base their continued hate on a proven lie.

I think this could creep up to $1/2 Mill.....

Rush should pocket the money and not give it to charity. Thumb his nose at the b***ards. Not so. Exactly what he is doing here is the perfect way to "thumb his nose" at them...especially if he has pledged to match the winning bid. I say "touche".

then put it up for bids again, benefitting the MCLE once more.
Yup, that'd be a trip, I only hope they'd somehow utilize the
same screening process to keep this from being deep-sixed.

That the price will entirely go to charity is probably a big skewing factor. Anyone prone to six digit donations anyway would be delighted to score a historic document, autographer’s delight, and publicized notariety in the process.

I am happy to say that neither Senator from the great State of Texas is a signatory to this ridiculous tripe. John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchinson will continue to recieve my vote.
God Bless Texas! And, God Bless Rush Limbaugh!
