The philosophy will survive any attempt by either party to extinguish it. This is a given. You cannot eradicate helpless babies and not have someone, somewhere nail some 99 Thesis to some doorway.
My point, that you very nearly make for me is that if it can survive 4 years of Hillary, as it did 8 years of Bill, how then could it not survive 4 years of Rudy?
Here's what I think you're position is and correct me if I have it wrong: I think you're afraid that there will be a broad perception that the right in this country has abandoned the unborn. I don't think there's much substance to that apprehension because as was pointed out in an earlier part of this conversation, Rudy is only one man. Naturally he's the president in this dystopian vision, but there isn't much he can or would be willing to do to harm the pro-life position as Clinton did.
Let me know what you think?

"Let me know what you think"In summary, I think there is no reason to turn the conservative GOP into a RINO party. Voting for Rudy would allow him to claim a mandate that such a change is validated.
But if there are more Republicans, than not, who support such a position change, then those who do not should form a separate social conservative party. I think nothing is more important than life for America's future. I want that in my political party and its candidates.
