If you really where concerned about seeing abortion reduced you would care how your statements chase people away. If your actions persuade people that maybe the other side is more rational, how will that help?

It's fairly obvious that you cling to ideals without caring how they are realized. Not caring whether your actions chase potential supporters away does not give the impression you actually want to see abortion reduced.

I never said that. But when you call those that are not entirely opposed to abortion "murderer" "baby killers" "abortionists" and the like it can easily make the other side more rational with the anti-abortion side having nothing but emotion. That doesn't make it true, but perception is everything.
