Basicly, even though we have branded PKK as terrorists, northern Iraq is one of the few calm places in Iraq..and yes..pipelines go through that area.

Bush 41 said we went into Iraq to "free" Kuwait, and we all knew it was bullsh*t.As Rush said at the time, we should not have been ashamed to say the goal was the "free flow of oil at market prices". Idealism is cheap. Keepling oil flowing without problems is paramount to our national interests.
