Hey Norm, Looking at the map, a physical merger of the LA County fires would be something terrible. As I look at it the fire would have to cover big chunks of the San Frenando Valley. Maybe they mean putting fire management of the Santa Clarita area fires under a single fire management.

That stopped a couple of decades ago. Teachers these days are frequently called on to be the custodian of the kid and to do the parenting that the biological parents don't have time to do. My dad quit teaching in the 80's after spending thirty years in the classroom. His final shot was, "If I wanted to be a warden, I wouldn't have gotten a teaching credential".
