...Now I have name issues (why did I put 'mom' in my tag?) would rename...but don't want to lose my 'gravitas.'

I asked Jim to change my freeper name about 2 years ago.
Kept the same sign up date.
The software even went back and changed the name in my older posts.
You could put your old name in your tagline.
Just a thought.

Same here. My name was "Tragically Single," but then I got married. :D

Thank you Mary for the heads up on the name change. When I had to reregister (my first name was really even more boring than the one I have now...initial and birthday) so, it was back during Whitewater and I wanted to get back on asap...and there were other 'moms' so I followed suit. Only prob, sometimes some posters get sorta patronizing...and I think if I had a more generic name I wouldnt run into that. Its good to know that if I get frustrated I can 'change.'
