Its so obvious, our PC society is willing to overlook the fact. They don’t like us, don’t like our freedoms, womens’ rights, etc., yet want to move here with the intention of trying to make changes.

Most politicians are couched so deeply into PC talk that they would never say this - and they'd rather ignore reality.
Here's betting that he retracts his statement fairly soon ('I was misquoted'... 'I mispoke' ... etc). Hope I'm wrong.

Everyone’s making fun of the mayor for his statement. Maybe not the most eloquent words, but he’s said something damned few office holders in the US have the guts to say. Maybe everyone would be more pleased it he’d said: “Islam means peace,” and then made a visit to some mosque to suck-up to the imams.

Seems to me he deserves more kudos than derision for speaking truths few will speak in PC America.
