No comment on the availability of criminals however. I heard this on the radio. Already they are blaming guns and oh, by the way, there was nary a description (on the radio) of the shooter.

The police officer has now died. They are now looking for a murderer. But they do have a description now (and video at the link)

The suspect is described as a heavy-set African American male in his 20s, approximately 5'11"- 6' tall, wearing a dark hoodie, tan khaki pants, black and white striped tan boots and has a tattoo that police believe to be a spider on his left hand. Commissioner Johnson said the suspect has a noticeable limp.
