If you love your kids, grandkids - get them out of government run schools.
Wow, what a way to lean on parents to get their kids indoctinated.
My kids are going to private school, end of story.
There’d be nothing whatsoever wrong with stating where in the world this “Journal Inquirer” is from, and WTF “Edwards” is.
The school systems in most cities can’t teach kids to read and write but they are competent enough to teach parenting skills?
What a great idea.
When my wife and I have kids - we’re going to homeschool. End of story.
This person better check her credentials if she thinks she’s a republican =
1. Parents live healthy life-styles, conducive to raising children; i.e. non-smokers, non-drinkers?
2. Parents don't own firearms.
3. Parents aren't members of radical religious sects; e.g., Christianity
4. Parents aren't culturally diverse, etc.
John NannyWards!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like you cherry picked some lines from the article instead of posting the article UNCENSORED!!!! Are you agenda driven or just so upset with the proposal that you got overly excited????
Extra credit if the parents are gay!
Exactly. This is more diversion from the moral absolutes hating and relativist NEA.
As B.B. would say “What a maroon.”
This is in: Manchester, CT
“If you love your kids, grandkids - get them out of government run schools.”
So are you inferring that I hate my son?
Good idea & lets have report cards on the principals & vice principals too. I think all parents ought to be able to fill out a form on them. I know my vp would get a big fat F from me. So far I can't complain about my daughter's teacher or the principal. But that vp is a nut case.
The libs are getting bolder all the time. In 2004 Edwards was on record advocating mandatory civilian service (or else, no diploma) for high school students. Nobody (except criminals) should be doing government mandated, involuntary labor.
Now he’s calling for grading parents?
They all talk about choice, but all they ever do is support increasing government control over our lives.
Totalitarian by any other name still stinks.
Now, I’d be worked up too, if this was about a parent’s ideas, beliefs, or knowledge. But it isn’t.
Now that I read the liberal reason for the report card. I am against it too. It is another way to “reach out” to those, helpless, sucky, parents and get the government to help them raise their children.
How about calling out those parents that could do more in the way of supporting their children’s education and letting them do for themselves? Don’t do it for them!!!!
They become dependent....I mean democrats.
