Fred doesnt put me to sleep. Listening to a thoughtful, serious, down to earth candidate is refreshing for me. :) Exactly. Fred has core principles that drive him to be President. I have watched many of his speeches and and no doubt he has a strong sense of what the Founders meant by limited government. Mitt and Rudy will make GWB's domestic spending look conservative. I am astounded how anyone could truly believe that Mitt or Rudy have any core beliefs. Mitt and Rudy are hard core statists who in their heart place the state above the individual. Fred is the ONLY candidate that the MSM and the evil left fear. Fred is the only top tier candidate running that is conservative. Fred is the only candidate that can defeat the leftist Hillary.

Being in Iowa , is that what you’re sensing on the ground there ? Is the Huckster ascension real as well ?

There is a brief jarring moment at the end where it says Fred Thompson, President. Thats . . . awkward. It breaks the spell. It didn't sound awkward or jarring to me. It also is likely an advertising device to make people more strongly associate "Fred Thompson" and "President".

We’ll have to see what happens in Iowa over the next couple of weeks. If he gains some traction and starts to chip away at the leaders I’ll feel a lot better going into thanksgiving.

It indicates that FDT is "comfortable in his own skin", a quality I don't see in the other candidates. Well stated. So many of the attacks my posters remind me of the insane rabidness of the DU. The must in their hearts be liberals. There is no way you can truly believe in limited government and conservatism and support Mitt or Rudy. They are charlatans seeking the office for their own ego, not to do good.

Huckabee has more truly committed supporters than most and their numbers are growing. His upside is not all that great though, unlike Fred. I have the impression a lot of people are taking a “wait and see” approach with FDT since he hasn't ran ads or spent much time here, but this and his MTP appearance should help his visibility.

When McCain and the others end their campaigns (due to political and monetary reality), they will most likely turn to Fred, except for the Paul supporters, who will most likely go third party.
Supporters of McCain and Huckabee are vastly more pro-life than Giuliani or Romney, and will be more comfortable in the Thompson camp.
At least that's the way I see it...I've been wrong before.

I’ve noticed you never have anything positive to say about Fred or his campaign and assume you are a support of another candidate.
But far from being “nothing particularly wrong” with the ads, there is everything especially right about them. Your comments about the people in the background are silly. There is a child seated at the table in the cafe. And with an aging boomer generation, who says that demographic isn’t exactly correct to feature?
I’m afraid you are simply recycling the your own tired and old criticisms trying to demean Fred’s age and appearance. It’s the message that people will isten to. And apparently that scares you substantially.
And I absolutely salute the ending “FRed Thompson, President”!! LOL!!!
It’s perfect.
