Like when Billy Graham got up to defend “Squirt-boy” . . . medicine-men off their meds and rockers.

Robertson has long been a loose-cannon, and I don't know about Graham.

But I do like Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention. (And I'm not a Baptist.)

Anybody know if Dr. Land has endorsed a candidate yet?

Pat Robertsin has finally brought me to Free Republic. I’ve read your posts for a couple of months but this is my first posting.

This October-December romance between Rudy and Robertson can only end in one way, Rudy’s next divorce. What Robertson bought into is that Rudy will appoint pro-life judges. But as an ex-New Yorker I know that Rudy’s word is only as good as his first attempt, and when the dem Senate rejects his first for-show-only nomineee to the Supreme Court Rudy can say “See? I tried, but they have the votes.”

I’m for Hunter or, alternative, Huckabee, but never again for Rudy. He fooled me once.

Please folks - we have to recognize that Hitlery IS the most dangerous candidate in for the presidency

No, the most dangerous candidate for conservatives in the race is Giuliani. He moves the party to the left. He guarantees no conservative President until 2016. He guarantees Republicans have no chance of taking back Congress for a decade.

Giuliani has liberal record and is man no character. Trusting someone like that is absurd. And, we have seen what trusting a similar Republican -- Arnold Schwarzenegger -- has done in California.

Giuliani isn't a conservative and will be do what is best for him. He will betray conservatives if that is best for him because he is a liberal at heart.

There are no double truths, there is the truth.

Fight for your nominee, but to state if they don’t win, but someone you don’t like does, then you are going to stay home or not support them is defacto handing the white house to Hitlery.

Primaries exist to have these debates out in the open, however the notion that if your guy loses the primary you go 3rd party or stay at home is just stupid nonsense.

Nope, no ebola... OLD AGE.

Go look at the court.

Given that odds are someone who wins the white house way way way more often than not gets a second term, add 8 years to the ages of the justices.

Breyer: 70 by the time the next pres takes office
Thomas: 60 when next pres takes office (sadly statistically african americans don’t live as long)
Ginsberg: 75 by 1/09
Alito: 58 by 1/09
Kennedy: 72 by 1/09
Stevens: 88 by 1/09
Roberts: 53 by 1/09
Scalia: 72 by 1/09
Souter: 69 by 1/09

Within 8 years of 1/09 that date 4 to 6 of these guys will statistically be dead or retired. The only 2 on the court who statistically are not likely to be dead are Alito and Roberts, and an outside on Thomas.

That’s reality, doesn’t take ebola, its called Old Age.

You are insane.

Crime down, times square cleaned up, the city cleaned up, people not living in fear of crime just walking down the street, catering to bums done, etc etc etc...

You wouldn’t walk in Times Square with your child on an afternoon in NYC before Rudy... now TOYS R US is a destination point there.

You either were never in New York prior to Rudy, or you are beyond foolish.

Nice Rhetoric, glad to see the skipping record continues.

Riddle me this Mr I define what is conservative.

Republicans held the congress for over 10 years, why did they not once put up legislation to remove abortion from the perview of the federal court?

Don’t lecture me about abortion, if what you define as “true conservatives” gave a damned about this issue it wouldn’t still be in the hands of the federal courts.

Congress has the constitutional right to remove ANY issue from the perview of the courts at will, period. And it never happened, and never will happen.

Rudy has stated he’ll nominate construtionalists, that’s hardly an advocation of radical abortion activist judges... Hitlery has said without apology no judge who does not support a womans right to commit infanticide with a doctors aid will be nominated. So, please explain to me how these are the same? If you think they are, there is no point in even continuing a discussion with you, because rational thought is not one of your strong points.

Most Supreme Court justices remain on the court into their 70s. There is no chance of Roberts, Alito or Thomas retiring. I doubt Scalia would in the first term of Hillary Clinton.

But, the only way conservative judges are going to make in on to the court is if we have a conservative President in the White House and/or if Republicans hold the Senate.

I don't trust a man with a liberal record that alienated his own children by parading his mistress around New York to even try and put a strict constructionalist on to SCOTUS. It's no more believable than Bill Clinton's promise of a middle-class tax cut.

OK, Rudy's already gone on record saying that if folks embrace Roe as a precedent, "that's OK." Now, maybe you like to twist the English language alongside Rudy, but if mass murder isn't "radical" but is instead "OK" then you don't even have a compass point upon which to measure what he means by "constructionists." (For all we know, the rogue Roe judges were all "constructionists" to Rudy.)

Well then, if it come to that, cast you non-vote for Hillary and certainly see that come to pass.

Supporting the candidate of your choice, in a free country, can endanger your soul? Who knew?

Separation of church and state; how long ago was that?

Its impossible for a truly saved Christian to support abortion or a candidate who supports abortion. If they do so, it means the Holy Spirit is not with them, and never was. God is quite clear about this in His Word.

Since I don’t read minds anymore (smile), I don’t know why Pat decided to endorse him except that Pat is concerned about terrorism and Islam. I feel, and I may be wrong, that he believes Rudy will be more like Bush and be willing to fight these muzzies.

NOTHING would be worse for this country than the election of Rudy Giuliani...the fact is that Hillary is more a man than Julie Annie will ever be. She's much tougher than than Rudy.

Score: 3.2 for delivering your comments like a drama queen; served up with a fine liberal whine.

Well this is just wonderful isn’t it?

Now the trees, ice caps, carribou and polar bears have an entire political party in the Democrats who will fight tooth and nail and lie in order to protect them.

Unborn human beings have no political party to speak for them.

Unfrickinbelievable.
