Allow me to add another question.....This is campaigning 101. You take the candidate to a restaurant...YOU LEAVE A TIP!
Didn’t this happen one time before?
And that campaign continues to make this most horrific of gaffes.
We need some Republican operatives to get on this. If this was a Republican that left some poor waitress nothing, and then LIED about it...Jame Carville would be serpent-heading all over the TV spitting and hissing about rich Republicans and their divorce from the common people. Various Dem spokespeople would be on all the cable shows, explaining to the soccer moms why Republicans can’t even be trusted to tip a humble waitress. Move-on.org would have cartoons of nasty Republicans beating on innocent waitresses.
This is really a serious gaffe, the kind the ladies at the beauty parlor would understand quite well. Most all of us have waiters or waitresses in our families and many of us have been one as well. It’s something that will resonate with the common people.
Yet the pubbies are too “polite” to bring it on.
